Christopher Fenton, AIA, LEED AP
Christopher Fenton has expertise in the planning, design, and construction administration of complex, high profile, public projects. He has done extensive work on McCarran International Airport, and he is currently directing the renovation and expansion of the $113 million Otay Mesa Port of Entry through the GSA’s Design Excellence building program. Chris has a great deal of experience on phased implementation for projects that require continued 24 hour a day, 7 day a week operations during construction. His excellent communication skills and organizational abilities enable him to successfully manage the work of production personnel and engineering and specialty consultants, and his attention to detail ensures quality and design integrity throughout every element of the project.
Chris Fenton has expertise in the planning, design, technical development and construction administration of large and complex public projects. He has done extensive work with the McCarran International Airport; he has also completed numerous educational and institutional projects, including facilities for the Nevada State Public Works Board, the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and the Clark County School District.
Chris’ excellent communication skills and organizational abilities enable him to successfully manage the work of production personnel and engineering consultants. His service-orientated approach produces tangible results that directly contribute to the client satisfaction throughout the duration of the design process on each of his projects. Chris’ attention to detail ensures quality and design integrity throughout every element of the project, and his conscientious management approach allow buildings to come together seamlessly.
Chris is active in the Las Vegas Chapter of the AIA. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 2006 and currently serves as the organization’s Secretary | Director. He was a co-chair of “Blueprint for Nevada: Creating Livable Communities” a 24-Hour Town Hall Meeting and Design Charrette held in April 2007 as part of the National AIA 150 Celebration. Chris received the AIA Nevada Young Architect Citation in 2007.
