George Tate

Principal Emeritus

The founder of Tate Snyder Kimsey Architects, George Tate practiced architecture in Southern Nevada for more than 40 years. His professional experience encompasses a broad range of project types and sizes, including many of the educational, religious and health care facilities that continue to play significant roles in our community.

A Nevada native with an avid interest in the State’s history, George grew up in the mining community of Ely. He officially retired from professional practice in 1995, but continues his involvement with the firm, guiding, consulting, and assisting with specific key projects. George shares his extensive experience in the field of architecture and his unique understanding of our community. Our firm’s business ethics and approach to teaming with our customers are firmly founded in the corporate culture created by George Tate.
