Gregory Gordon, P.E, S.E.
Gregory Gordon, P.E, S.E., is a registered civil and structural engineer with 24 years of experience with a wide range of projects and expertise with the building codes and modern design techniques. As Principal-In-Charge of structural engineering, Gregory plays a key role in evaluating and selecting structural systems and oversees projects to ensure coordination between the various members of the project team to enhance the quality of the final structural product. His experience includes the design in structural steel, reinforced cast-in-place concrete, precast and prestressed concrete, composite structural steel, masonry and wood.
Prior to joining Tate Snyder Kimsey Architects, Gregory spent 7 years as Principal-In-Charge of an associate office of an ENR top 100 engineering civil/structural design firm and 9 years as Principal-In-Charge of a structural firm in Phoenix, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada. His work experience includes the design of educational facilities, government facilities, office buildings, hotels, convention centers, parking structures, religious facilities, health care facilities, theaters, sport and recreation projects, police facilities, residential structures, peer reviews, bridging documents, feasibility studies, retrofitting of existing construction, warehouses, restaurants, and fast-paced casino projects that include foundation-only structural packages. Project construction costs have ranged from hundreds of thousands to hundreds of million dollars.
Gregory has designed and been the engineer-of-record on numerous projects with Tate Snyder Kimsey Architects since 1991. He is committed to providing efficient innovative structural designs to meet the demands of today’s competitive marketplace.
As the engineer-in-charge, Gregory’s duties for this project include building code compliance, analysis and design, project management, and contract administration. Gregory will work closely with the Principal Architect and Project Architect to ensure an efficient and well-coordinate project through design and construction.
