TSK is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Dallas, bringing more than 60 years of expertise in public architecture to the Texas market.
TSK’s office is located in Granite Park in Plano—a vibrant live, work, play community near the epicenter of booming development in the metroplex. TSK will share the space with MOREgroup’s educational firm, Huckabee, offering opportunities for cross-market collaboration as they serve communities across North Texas.
"Opening an office in Dallas is an important milestone for TSK. Expansion into Texas is part of our strategic plan for growth, and we are excited to give our employees the chance to lead within this incredible state," said Windom Kimsey, TSK's President. "We look forward to collaborating with local partners and municipalities to design spaces that not only meet their needs but also enhance their communities."
"We are thrilled to bring TSK's unique perspective on public architecture to North Texas," said Christopher M Huckabee, MOREgroup's CEO. "TSK's dedication to improving quality of life through community-focused design aligns perfectly with MOREgroup’s vision of creating a lasting impact of excellence on the communities we serve. TSK’s expansion into Dallas represents the first opportunity for our MOREgroup family of brands to collaborate in a shared office environment.”
TSK’s Dallas office will be led by Erica Bish who brings over 17 years of experience in public sector design and has worked with municipalities across the region. “I'm excited to lead TSK's expansion into the Texas market and to work with the talented team at TSK and MOREgroup to create innovative and impactful designs that serve the public good," said Erica.
Erica received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), where she currently serves on the Dallas Chapter Board and will be appointed to president starting this summer.
“Erica’s leadership experience, design talent, and community involvement make her an excellent addition to our team,” said Windom Kimsey, FAIA, LEED, AP, president of TSK Architects. “Erica's passion for design and dedication to creating spaces that positively impact the community aligns perfectly with TSK’s core values. Her extensive experience in managing and leading design teams will further enhance our capabilities, and we look forward to the positive impact she will make on our firm and our clients."
As the new Director of the Dallas office, Erica will serve as a trusted advisor for TSK Architects. She will be responsible for creating an environment that promotes the company culture while maintaining a positive tone that ensures the overall success of the office. Additionally, Bish will be accountable for project delivery, while managing client and project relationships ensuring overall success.
